I've been inundated with calls from this number lately, but as soon as I pick up, they just hang up on me. Quite baffling, really!

I received a rather unsettling phone call on my private line, which is meant to be unlisted, and the caller, a man, seemed to be familiar with my name. I was rather taken aback and inquired how he had obtained my details since I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service and my number is hidden from public view. He replied rather vaguely that he sourced it from “a piece of paper.” He claimed to be associated with “Future Homes” but was rather evasive about their location. When I insisted that unsolicited calls are indeed against the law and requested more information about his company, he abruptly ended the call. Quite infuriating, to say the least!
