If it's a robocall, there should be an option to talk to a real person and ask to have your number taken off their list. If they say they can’t do it, don’t believe them. I used to work in a call centre and it only took a couple seconds to remove someone who requested it. If they refuse, just mention the Data Protection Act. By law they have to take you off the list.
