Got a silent call from 02035811747 just after having a dodgy online scam try on the 10th. Then today, 11th Jan 2024, the same thing happened with 02045255648 - also silent. Both numbers seem connected to TalkTalk. If you can confirm these are linked to scammers, watch out, I'd say it’s pretty risky.

When I got back, I saw a missed call on my phone from a number I didn’t know. No voicemail left either.

I answered with a "hello" but there was nothing at first, then I heard a faint, faraway voice mumbling something I couldn’t make out clearly.

My poor old dad, who's 88, keeps getting pestered by this persistent caller. It's absolutely unacceptable.

I got a call earlier from someone saying he was with BT, saying my broadband details were gonna be leaked. A bit before the call, I’d got a text from ‘BT’ with a 4-digit code, so I thought it might be genuine. But as soon as the bloke introduced himself as Jack Parker (and he had an Indian accent), I knew something was off and ended the call. What’s worrying is that they already have my house number and mobile. When I searched the number online, it was actually linked to a pizza takeaway in London!

I got a call from this number claiming to be BT Openreach. My son answered, and when he mentioned he wasn't the account holder, they promptly hung up. Curious, I decided to dig a bit further, only to discover that the number actually belongs to an Italian eatery right in the heart of London! What a surprise!

Had a chat with an elderly lady from down the road. I recognised her name. They claimed to be from OPEN REACH and insisted that her IP Address had been breached. Bombarded her with probing questions regarding her internet activities, such as digital banking and shopping online! Total scam, if you ask me.

I had a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, insisting they were conducting checks on my broadband connection. Then they casually mentioned that there’d been some unauthorised access to it. Clearly, it was a scam through and through!

Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT, telling me my internet wasn’t private anymore and it was public instead. They said they wouldn't connect to my computer but wanted me to sort out my settings. I didn’t even entertain the chat, told them I wasn’t buying it and hung up straight away. Blocked the number right after.

This morning I got a call, couldn’t really catch what she was saying but it sounded like it was about BT. I just told her she was trying to scam me and then they hung up. I’m on the TPS and they really ought to sort out these annoying calls.

When I picked up, there was a long pause before the caller actually started talking. Eventually, he claimed to be from B.T. and asked if I lived there. The connection was awful and kept cutting out. When he asked if I could hear him alright, I replied, "For a telecom firm, I’d have thought the line would be better," and then he just hung up. Clearly a dodgy call.

Got a call from this number saying there was some problem with my internet connection and asked if I’d looked into it. I told them right away it was a scam and not a real call. I even told the person they’d be better off finding a proper job rather than trying to trick folks. They hung up straight away after that.

A bloke rang me and called me Ma’am right off the bat which made me suspicious straight away. He said he was letting me know about some blocking thing on my phone because it was supposedly in danger. I shot back with, “Oh yeah, from folk like you?” That’s when he got all defensive and kept insisting he was for real. When I told him I wasn’t buying it, he started losing his temper and shouting. I just hung up after that.
