I keep getting calls from this number, and it's starting to wear me thin. Earlier today, just before noon, I answered and heard a foreign accent. The caller introduced himself as Jack and started going on about his misfortunes over the past two years, bizarrely placing the blame on me! I found it all rather unsettling and hung up. I can’t shake off the feeling that maybe there’s someone out there in genuine need of assistance. It’s proving to be quite bothersome, especially as I’m a 79-year-old widow and my number is supposed to be ex-directory.

Dodgy outfit, those lot - a bunch of ambulance chasers looking to cash in on accidents. I reckon they aren't even originating from London, but who knows? I just ended the call and added them to my block list.

Received a call from a gentleman of Asian descent. There was quite a bit of background chatter, typical of a call centre environment.

I could hear the commotion of a call centre in the background, and before I knew it, they hung up. What an annoyance!
