Had calls AGAIN from "Gamma Telecom" - several different numbers all linked to them. They try the same old trick about insurance or home repairs. Best thing is to just block 'em straight away. Sometimes I pick up and blow a loud whistle down the phone, and that usually stops them from ringing me again. Just a heads up! Cheers.

They been calling me every single day for the past three days and as soon as my answering machine picks up, they just hang up. From what I’ve seen, that’s usually a red flag that somethings fishy going on.

Got a call from a woman speaking with a London/South East accent, claiming to be from BT/Openreach. She tried to offer us a discount on our phone line rental. We were a bit puzzled and told her we're not with BT, but she insisted our provider is connected to Openreach anyway. When we asked her to send the details via email, she just went quiet and ended the call. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam.

02035351985 rang and mentioned my nana’s name. When I asked who it was, they said something about a phone bill. I told them my nan wasn’t home, then they asked when she’d be back. I said around 5 pm, and they called again twice just after 5.15, but I didn’t pick up.

Fortunately, she was wise enough to just end the call, but I’m worried some others might fall for it.
