I received a rather unpleasant call that seemed to be a scam. The individual on the other end started spouting off some technical terms, clearly trying to bamboozle me. However, when I mentioned that I might contact the authorities regarding his antics, he turned rather nasty.

I just had a rather odd call from this number, claiming to be from some medical institution. They insisted there was an issue with one of my kidneys and that the caller was a doctor. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. Then, she urged me to lie down on my bed, so I thought, why not? I humoured her and said I was indeed lying down, to which she simply hung up. Blimey! I sincerely hope there’s nothing wrong with my kidneys! What on earth is the matter with such individuals?

I just received a call from an Asian chap claiming there was a fault with my Windows laptop. He insisted that every time I boot it up, it pings some so-called central internet server - the WWW server, I believe he called it - which supposedly sends a notification to Microsoft indicating I have a virus. He was keen to gain remote access to my device to 'resolve' the issue. After humouring him for a bit, I attempted to enlighten him on the fact that the internet isn’t reliant on a single server and that I actually rent a server here in England; my last one was based in the USA. As I tried to convey my knowledge about servers and point out that he was attempting a scam, he abruptly hung up on me!

I received a rather inappropriate call from this number, with the caller incessantly stating he wanted to "have a go at me." He just wouldn't stop repeating it. After I hung up, I decided to check the number by calling 1471, only to discover they were still connected. Quite unsettling, I must say!

Total scam! They tried claiming to be from my computer's tech support, which is just ridiculous.
