At the ripe age of 77, living solo has its peaceful moments, but it's absolutely dreadful being harassed by this persistent number. I found out that dialing 1471 to uncover who it is comes with a fee, which is just ludicrous! And to think I might be charged for them bothering me is downright alarming. "Marketing Trends" is conducting a lifestyle survey, but frankly, it leaves a lot to be desired. 1) They’re after your consent to share your information far and wide, all in the name of fine-tuning their marketing calls. 2) It becomes abundantly clear that they have no real interest in your responses - it’s a mere charade of a survey. 3) I’ve been informed that these calls will continue unabated until I succumb to their questions. Seven times in five days already! They certainly do follow through on their threats. I keep telling them to cease and desist. So, my advice? Don’t pick up if this number calls!

First, I blocked the two numbers they kept calling from, but then they switched it up, so I had to block the whole 0203 area code they were using. Since then, no more calls. This has been happening every day, and earlier today I got a call from America as well. Honestly, these calls need to be stopped. I’m poorly and this constant ringing is really getting to me. there was this really annoying guy who kept going on and on, felt like he was trying to trick me into trusting him. i wasn’t sure if i gave him any info if it’d then be shared with a bunch of other callers trying to sell stuff. made me think he might be some kind of spam caller fishing for my details. honestly, best thing to do if you get one of these calls is just say “i don’t take part in phone surveys” and then hang straight up.

I received a call from a woman who identified herself as Irene. Her accent seemed to hint at Asian and African influences. She claimed to be from Consumer Lifestyles, and I suspect there’s a link to that business and my earlier inquiries, especially since she used a name I had provided in my original request. It felt like she was trying to fish for personal details that could later be sold off as leads. I’d advise against sharing any information with them.
