Felt like it was some sort of automated message that only keeps going if you say what it expects, otherwise it just drops the call. I got asked if I owned the house, said no even though I do. Couple days ago, someone called claiming to be 'John' and said something like, "Just following up about your loft insulation." I told him straight away I wasn't looking to buy anything or carry on the chat. Then a few days later, 'John' phoned once more with the same spiel, so I said, "Hey John, we've already talked," and he just hung up on me. The very next day, another caller named 'Patrick' got through, but I'm pretty sure it was the same bloke speaking.

They’re some proper rude people, always quick to end the call when I try explaining that I’m on the TPS and that fibreglass loft insulation isn’t an issue. They just hang up anyway. I actually picked up thinking it was my daughter ringing me, but it was just silence on the other end. It’s quite irritating, especially since I'm working from home. Going to block the number now.

I got two calls from this number saying there was something wrong with my loft insulation. When I told them I’m with the council, they just ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me, just trying to swindle money. I’m gonna let my council landlords know about it.

I usually just let calls from unknown numbers go to voicemail (figured if it matters they'll leave a message). Didn’t pick up this time either and no message was left. I’ve flagged the number as ‘annoying’ rather than ‘dangerous’ since I’m not sure it was a scam for certain.
