She suggested that we had some sort of insurance with them, stating that the coverage for multiple appliances was nearing expiry-specifically, our washing machine, fridge freezer, and oven. When I expressed that I was unfamiliar with Appliance Protect, she quickly shifted her narrative to refer to the manufacturers’ warranties. I pointed out that our appliances were purchased at different times, which seemed to fluster her. The conversation wrapped up rather abruptly when I requested the address from which she was calling. Quite the dodgy encounter!Appliance Protect5 yearsI received a call from a woman called Anna, who stated she was calling on behalf of an insurance company. She proposed covering my kitchen appliances, including the fridge, oven, and washing machine, for a mere £12 per month. Curious for more information, I requested that she send me an email with the company's name and address among other details. However, she failed to follow through with that and instead rang me again this afternoon. I ended up hanging up on her when she continued to refuse to provide any written information.
