Got a call from someone pushing appliance insurance and had the cheek to suggest I use a partner’s credit card! I kept them hanging on the line for about half an hour just for a bit of a laugh.

Got a call not long ago about some appliance insurance for stuff like my fridge, cooker and washing machine. They already had my name and address/postcode, which was a bit odd. They said my insurance was about to run out in a few weeks. I kept up the chat for a bit until they asked me for my bank’s name. Told them I don’t share that kinda info, then I just ended the call. The person on the other end started sounding annoyed and kept pushing me when I didn’t give them what they wanted.
