Got a call from a bloke with a really thick Indian accent saying he was from BT, trying to sell me broadband for £40 a month, which is actually pricier than what I pay now for internet and phone. I could hear other voices in the background, like they were in a call centre. I cheekily asked if he wanted my bank details to finish the deal, thinking it was a scam. He said it wasn’t, but then after a couple of minutes of dead silence, the call just dropped.
