When I mentioned that I don’t even use BT services, he insisted that it was all-encompassing and affected providers like Vodafone and Virgin too. I told him I'm not experiencing any issues and ended the call. He soon rang again, questioning why I hung up. I outright told him I suspected he was trying to con me, so I disconnected once more.
