I received a call from someone with an Indian accent, purporting to be from BT Openreach. When I confronted him about potentially being a fraudster, he erupted in a tirade, exclaiming “How dare you!” He then wrapped up the conversation by hurling insults and angrily hanging up on me. Quite an interesting encounter, to say the least!

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, saying he’s from BT Openreach. When I told him he was probably scamming, he got all loud, shouting “How dare you?” Then finished with “If I’m a scammer, you’re a f***er” and just hung up on me. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT about issues with my internet. The number was quite alike to theirs. The person on the other end started yelling at me, telling me to pay attention. I don’t even use BT, and my internet’s been working fine. Another obvious scam!
