An Indian woman rang me up, claiming I’d scooped £10,000 from a lottery ticket I supposedly bought last Friday. I let her prattle on for a while until I decided to stop her in her tracks by saying I’ve never played the lottery in my life, so winning would indeed be nothing short of a miracle! She continued to chatter on, but honestly, her words turned into a muddle, and I couldn’t grasp a thing. That’s when I chose to hang up. Despite having confronted this scam call, the number still persistently calls me back. I can't help but wonder what other nonsense they’re keen to throw my way!

I've received calls from half a dozen different numbers, particularly those pesky 020 ones, on my mobile. When I attempted to return the call using a different phone, it went straight to voicemail, stating that the number was unavailable and to try again later. This nonsense has to come to an end! It’s outrageous that companies are permitted to peddle our numbers around like this. The whole notion of Data Protection seems to have been thrown out of the window!

Got called like 11 times over just a couple of days. When I finally picked up on the 11th, there was a weird pause before they replied to my hello. Then they started asking me to verify my name, address, and if I live there. Didn’t mention which company or where they were calling from at all. I just blocked the number straight away.

This has to do with bitcoin revolution, they ask for your account info so they can trade using your cash. They want you to begin trading asap. They’ll say anything to get your info. If you’ve even shown a bit of interest in bitcoin or watched a clip on Facebook, watch out, it’s dodgy.

Today, on the 19th of January, 2016, I received three calls from the same individual inquiring about a car accident that supposedly occurred within the last three years. The troubling thing is, I've never been in an accident! When I mentioned this, the caller proceeded to quiz me about whether any of my family or friends had been involved in mishaps. After I firmly stated "no," he seemed to doubt my honesty, asking, "Are you quite certain?" A bit absurd, really, considering I haven't owned a vehicle for over three years. What’s peculiar is that I recently listed my boyfriend's car for sale on Gumtree, complete with my phone number-I'm almost certain that’s how they’ve obtained my contact information. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me.

Got a call from an asian bloke claiming I had some kind of payout for a car crash in past three years. When I asked for the exact date of the incident, he just couldn’t answer. Also asked why our insurance hadn’t reached out directly and got no clear reason. Ended up hanging up on them. However, they kept ringing me five more times over a few days. Told them to send something in writing if they’re a real company.

I received a call at 14:52 on the 12th of August, 2015, from a gentleman with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Road Traffic Management. He was babbling on about some sort of accident, but I really struggled to comprehend what he was saying. When I began to ask for clarification regarding the company name, he abruptly ended the call. I've gone ahead and reported this to the Telephone Preference Service.
