I'm trying to uncover the identity of the person behind this phone number that's been calling me.

Someone tried to persuade us to buy some land they were selling. It was a clear scam, as there’s absolutely no chance you could use the land for any kind of development.

I reckon it's a classic case of a 'boiler room' operation trying to peddle some dodgy investment opportunities. They called us, claiming to be touching base regarding a conversation we supposedly had last year about the carbon trading market. The thing is, we never had any such discussion with them! I'm convinced it's all a ruse to pull the wool over our eyes.

Received a call from this number at 1:50 AM. As soon as our answering machine picked up, they hung up. Clearly, it's yet another one of those pesky cold-callers trying to sell something.

A rather pushy call centre, if you ask me. The moment you show any hint of disinterest, they hang up, ready to pounce on their next victim. I doubt they'll ever bother to take our number off their list, and I fully expect them to try their luck again at some point. Seems to me this has something to do with a chap named Andy Cunningham, who apparently had three businesses shut down by the DTI. Quite the character, I reckon!
