Huge Euromillions Lottery firm rang me up saying I’d won free lottery tickets, then suddenly wanted £39 a month for 'em. I had just signed up to the National Consumer Review yesterday - really bad idea, feels like they’ve sold my details all over the place. Going to ignore any unknown calls for the foreseeable future.

Got a call from some company out of Asia, saying all sorts of dodgy stuff just to catch your attention. They use some kind of software to mask their real number and make it look like it’s a London ring. Best thing to do is hang up and block them straight away.

Got a ring from this number, some Asian guy saying he was from Microsoft about problems with my Windows 10. I told him I don’t even have a PC at home, and he hung up quick. Seriously sketchy! Watch out and don’t share any info with these lot.

Got a text from 02035145705 claiming big brand discounts but it came from the 85088 short code - total scam trying to rip me off £4.50 for each dodgy message. Three Mobile UK seem to be letting this 85088 short code scam run wild. I'm waiting on Three to fix this expensive mess. Watch out, folks.

Some big company offers, I reckon they teamed up with my network since I wasn’t on a capped plan. They charged me twice £4.50 for just two texts. I’ve now got a cap on my phone to stop it. My provider, 3, refused to refund me, told me to just shrug it off. 02035145705 is dodgy and expensive. Avoid it!

Got a call from an Asian lady, but the connection was so bad I could hardly make out what she was saying. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy cold calls that're actually banned here in the UK.

Got a call from 0203 514 2080, some muppet pretending to be from HMRC (as if anyone falls for that!) Naturally, I reported them straightaway to [email protected]. I sent both HMRC and the fraud team this site link - hopefully it’ll stop these scam calls once and for all.

Honestly, I dunno why these lot still keep calling! I'm on the TPS list and every day I get about 4 or 5 calls from different numbers, and I block them all. Feels like nothing changes, it's just ridiculous!

He claimed to be ringing from global investments online. When i asked how he got our number he said i'd put my info on some online advert. I told him that was rubbish, we're on the TPS list and if he didnt take our number off their records i'd report them. When i asked if he'd actually remove us he just laughed and said 'of course maam' so yeah, i think that's a no then!

I’m getting Proper fed up with these calls. They seem to have a bunch of numbers starting with 0203 514, and as soon as I block one, another one pops up. They’ve been ringing me every day for about two weeks now and even multiple times a day recently. I just hang up straight away. Sounds like some call centre in India trying to sell who knows what. They can’t even bother to get my name right.

ive never picked up when these numbers ring me, always felt like telemarketers. it all began on Monday 17 July, twice that day from numbers like 020 3514 1572, then a couple hours later from a very similar one ending in 1585. since then, theyve called me nearly every day, sometimes two or three times a day. other slight changes include numbers ending in 1582 and 1583. looks like some online trading sales pitch - nope, not interested. definitely best to just keep blocking!

Got a load of calls from telesales pushing online trading stuff [financial]. They arent on any official registers or with the data protection folks, and refuse to take you off their list. Never signed up but somehow theyve got my deets and seem to pass em around a bunch of different callers. Telephone preference service dont do anything to stop them. Had to add them as a contact and divert all calls to voicemail, cos they keep changing the numbers, usually starting with 0203514158# or 0203514157#. Need to block these for good.
