A company dealing with investment trading tried to call me, claiming I was keen on financial trading. I told them straight I wasn’t and ended the call. Since then, they keep ringing me from various numbers beginning with 0203 51415. I’m really not interested in any of this and never asked for these calls. I’ve already signed up to stop cold calls ages ago. Blocked now.

I kept ignoring calls at first, but when I picked up, the person on the other end said they were from some "Global trading company" - sounded like they were overseas. They even knew my name and mentioned something about me wanting to invest or make money. I told them to take me off their call list and then slammed the phone down.

Picked up the phone and could hear a woman chatting with someone nearby. She suddenly burst out laughing, so I said hello loud enough for her to hear and then she just ended the call. Got a call from a bloke who was struggling with his English, claiming he worked for some worldwide investment firm. He said he could help me earn money through investments. I told him straight up there's no chance I'd trust anyone like that over the phone since most of these calls are dodgy. Asked him nicely to never ring me again.

Got a call once where no one said a word. We tried 1471 and some weird music played when it linked through, so we just ended the call. To me, that’s straight up a dodgy and threatening ring. Back in 2016 someone pretending to be from Hayes, speaking with an Indian accent, tried to con us out of £499.99 for a service we already paid for through Currys. We reported that for sure.
