Avoid picking up this call, it’s definitely a scam and a shady company behind it. Don’t engage with them no matter what.

Somebody called saying they were from Amazon. I played along for a bit, but at the end, I called them out and said, "Why are you lying, you muppet?"

I got a call from 02035140539, and the person said they were from Microsoft. They told me I had to update my computer or else I wouldn't be able to use it anymore. Naively, I paid them to 'fix' my computer. Now I'm not sure what I should do next. Also, when I tried to report it, they asked me what kind of phone message it was - can someone explain what they meant by that?

This number rang me up pretending to be from Microsoft, saying my computer needed some urgent updating or else I wouldn’t be able to use it anymore. I got tricked and ended up paying them for this supposed update. Can someone advise me on what I should do now? Also, when I tried reporting this, they asked what kind of phone scam it was - can anyone explain what that means?

I got a ring from 02035140539 yesterday, some bloke said he was from Microsoft and insisted my computer needed an urgent update or else it’d get locked. I actually ended up paying them to ‘fix’ it, which now I’m pretty sure was a mistake. What do you reckon I should do now? Also, when I tried to report this, they asked me what kind of message it was - can anyone explain what that means?

Got a call from someone named Aidan Jones using this number, claiming to be with ‘Windows’. He said there were error messages stopping updates and asked me to open my computer and give him access codes - obvious scam alert. I wanted to ring him back and asked how they’d answer, but he was all dodgy and couldn’t say if it was Microsoft or Windows or whatever. Like others have mentioned, a) Microsoft would never just call out of the blue like this b) I don’t even own a Windows machine. Don’t fall for this, don’t hand over any info!

Some bloke called David Haopy said he was from Microsoft support and told me my PC was spitting out error messages. He then wanted me to install some remote access software. When I asked him about the NATO phonetic alphabet, like Alpha and Charlie, he sounded proper annoyed. I checked and apparently, Microsoft never makes unsolicited calls like that. I’ve reported it now. Whatever you do, don’t let this guy or that number near your computer - it’s definitely a scam.

Lol, I had this caller on the phone for over 14 minutes, deliberately asking him to go over everything again. Played the fool a bit, but thanked him loads for the ‘alerts’ about my computer issues. When I told him he was a con artist trying to nick my details, he got proper defensive. Kept insisting he was legit, unlike all the other scammers trying to hack my bank info or sell me fake software. He wasn't too happy when I mentioned I actually use a Mac.

I got really suspicious about this so I got in touch with Microsoft myself. They told me they never call customers out of the blue to offer help, and they actually know about this firm called Crystal Consulting. Seriously, don’t hand over any cash or let them get into your PC - it’s a scam!

I got a call from 01375 377826 recently. The guy claimed he was from Windows Tech Support and told me my internet was at risk. He said his name was Mark Fernandes. Since I told him I couldn't get to my computer or set up a callback, he just gave me his number instead, 02035140539. If you check the feedback here, you’ll see other people mentioning the number linked to 01375 377825 too. Worth having a look before you answer.

Honestly, whoever’s saying these guys are scammers must be their rivals trying to cause trouble. I personally got excellent help from them. Their support was really top-notch.

Beware of David William claiming to be from 'Windows Technical Support' - total scam alert. They’ll try to get into your PC without permission. Don’t trust calls from 0203 6189240 or addresses like 80 Victoria St LE1 5JH. It’s all just a load of nonsense!

We had a rather unfortunate encounter with an Eco Friendly representative. Honestly, we couldn't bear the incessant droning of the salesman, so we simply set our phone down and allowed him to rant away to no one in particular!
