I received a missed call earlier today at 8:10 AM. No message was left and the caller didn't bother to ring back. Seems a bit dodgy to me, likely some sort of scam. Honestly, what’s wrong with these people? They should really consider finding decent employment instead of bothering folks like this!

I received a call bright and early at 8:20 this morning, which seems to be a regular occurrence lately. I struggled to make sense of what the caller was saying, and just like that, they disconnected the line. It’s infuriating since they mentioned my name, and we’re supposed to be ex directory. Such a nuisance!

Received a call claiming to be from Microsoft, stating that there was an issue with my computer. They decided to ring me at 8 AM, which is quite frustrating since I work on a shift pattern. When I mentioned my situation, they just terminated the call without any further ado. Quite infuriating! 😤😤😤

Steer clear of these fraudsters! This morning, my mother received a call from a representative claiming to be from "Global IT Technicians." They tricked her into believing her computer was infected with a virus, managing to squeeze £99 out of her to "fix" it. Now I'm left in a predicament, as we have no idea what malicious software they may have introduced to her machine while pretending to help. My mum promptly cancelled her payment card, but now I’ll have to fork out for a skilled technician to sort out the mess. This ruse is rather notorious. They present a file named svchost.exe, insisting it's a virus, but in reality, it's an entirely benign component of Microsoft Windows. They even showcase a list of erroneous alerts, but computers naturally register innocuous errors. Their routine includes getting you to download dubious software that’s likely teeming with malware or trojans- all for a so-called "service" you never asked for. Global IT Technicians are incredibly secretive about their operations- you can check their domain info here: who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain=glob ... prog_id=GoDaddy If they were a legitimate enterprise, they wouldn't need to cloak themselves via https://www.domainsbyproxy.com/AboutUs.aspx.

Today, my elderly parents received a phone call from someone identifying themselves as Harry Morgan, leaving them quite puzzled. To my dismay, the number traced back to a call centre based in India. It's evident that this is nothing short of a scam; these unscrupulous individuals are trying to convince folks to install software under the pretense of "repairing" their computers, only to hit them with hefty charges afterwards. In light of this, I plan to lodge a formal complaint since they have a registered UK address. The details are as follows: Suite 17015, Lower Ground Floor, 145 - 157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PW, United Kingdom.

My mother has been receiving incessant calls from some chaps claiming there's an issue with Windows 7. They insist she needs to access her computer to sort out some alleged problems, or else it could crash completely. Has anyone else been hounded by these characters? They go by the name Global IT Technicians, if you can believe it.
