I usually get called by this number once a day, mostly sometime in the early afternoon, say around 1 to 3. Quite often, when I pick up, the call ends straight away, probably an auto dialler messing around.

I can see why phone providers turn a blind eye since these calls bring them in quite a bit of money. Still, you'd think they’d give us, their customers, a break and maybe lower our bills or offer some discounts since this stuff is so annoying.

I get calls from these lot at least twice or even three times a day. I've told them to cut it out but they just keep ringing. Sometimes they say they're from Citizen Advice or that I've got a PPI claim, but I've never had one so I know they’re just making it up.

Is this for real? Got a call from a woman with a really strong accent about some PPI thing, then she handed me over to another person. Tried looking up the company but nothing came up. Has anyone else had dealings with them or is it just a scam? Cheers in advance. By the way, I'm on the TPS list but they still keep ringing anyway!

So, I got a call at 9.57pm from someone with a thick accent who couldn’t say my name right, claiming to be a 'courtesy call from Easy Solutions'. Honestly, it stressed my husband out so much, his blood pressure shot up. We’ve actually been on the TPS list for ages, but lately these types of calls keep coming in nonstop, like 4 to 6 times every single day. It’s driving us crazy!

They call me pretty much three times every day and I always end up having the exact same chat with them.

Someone rang me from this number, but I’m not really sure if it’s legit or something to watch out for.

I answered this number and all I heard at first was a weird buzzing sound, then some bloke with a strange accent started asking for me. I wanted to know who they were, but they just said it was about getting money back on my credit card. They then wanted me to confirm if I pay interest on the card and also asked for my address. I kept telling them to say who they were properly, but in the end, I told them to mind their own business. After that, he just hung up. Just another one of those annoying scam calls I get all the time...

I got one of those rubbish calls too, asking for Mr Jones first, then when "he" answered, suddenly wanted to speak to Mrs Jones instead. Honestly, these pest callers should be tracked down by the cops for wasting everyone's time!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Easy Solutions, going on about some PPI stuff as usual. I told her I wasn’t interested and asked her to stop calling. She then said I'd be getting more calls because I 'wouldn’t listen'. I told her to stop with the threats and just said goodbye. Honestly, they’re pathetic people, even if they are a nuisance.

I’m so annoyed with the amount of cold calls I keep getting. Most times I just let the phone ring out since no one ever says anything, and they never bother to leave a voicemail either. It’s become really frustrating.

So this number rang me today at about 5:20 in the evening. No one said a word, not me and not them, then just after maybe 10 seconds the phone cut off. Pretty odd if you ask me.

Got a call from this number earlier. They wanted to talk to either me or my husband. After I told them my name, the person got a bit grumpy and asked, "Is your husband not around then?" Seemed annoyed, so I just ended the call.

I’m really fed up with these nonstop calls. If BT doesn’t step up and sort this out, I’m honestly considering ditching my landline altogether.

They keep ringing this number that I’ve never shared with anyone and it’s not even my number! They ask for me all the time, and now it’s like three times every week. The poor person living at the place they keep calling is getting really stressed out because of it.

I got a call earlier, and the person just wanted to know if I was (my name). As soon as I said yes, they just ended the call. What’s the point of that? Seems strange!

Yet again, this number has been ringing me with nothing but silence. Seriously don’t know who they are or what they want but it’s starting to get really irritating.

They called me once saying they were from the "London Advisory board" or something like that. Then, another time, a guy with an Asian accent said I'd been sent a letter about a refund on my credit card and wanted me to verify my address. I told him I wasn’t giving out any details since I had no idea who he was, and he just ended the call.

I've had two separate calls from some bods calling themselves "blah, blah solutions limited". Every time I tell 'em I'm on the TPS list and ask for a manager, they just hang up on me. Honestly, is there no way to stop these idiots from pestering us?

This number just rang me up outta nowhere. When I asked who gave them my number, they got all defensive and wondered why I was being so rude! I explained I’m on the TPS list to avoid unwanted calls, so why was he bothering me? He said some snarky comment and hung up straight away.

This number called me again today. Before, I used to mess around a bit when they rang, feeding them rubbish and made-up details for a while. But honestly, I've had enough now, so I've just gone ahead and blocked it on my phone.

Got a call earlier from a guy with an Indian accent, sounded dodgy straight away. He kept going on about credit cards, which set off my scam alarms. I told him I had a letter authorising me to start work on his kitchen, just to confuse him a bit. He denied ever sending such a letter and then just hung up on me. Classic!

This number rings my phone pretty much every day, usually about 5 in the evening. We've registered with the no-calls list for sales calls, but they keep ringing anyway. At first, they’d call and ask if we’d take part in surveys, but now all they do is leave the handset off the hook and stay silent. We even blocked unknown numbers because of this mess, but it still carries on!

This number has called me like four times already and no one ever speaks when I answer, just really irritating. Today alone, Friday 20th June, I got two calls from them - one at 1:38pm and the other at 3:20pm. Honestly, do they not have anything better to be doing than pestering people like this?

I got a call from that number, they were asking to speak to my wife and started quizzing her about our bank details and credit cards, saying something about claiming PPI. It sounded dodgy to me, so I’d tell others to be careful and just end the call straight away.

I've recently come across a rather troubling trend involving phone scams targeted at credit card holders. It seems that they kick things off with an auto-dialler. If your phone rings and you pick it up only to be met with silence, it’s likely they’re gathering information about you. They may already have your name and can often deduce your bank based on what's common - typically HSBC comes out on top, while NatWest and Santander aren’t far behind. The odds are pretty high that they can guess correctly about 8 out of 10 times! They're using reverse phone lookups to get a lead on your identity without needing your full name straight away. They could be tapping into old tenant lists, the electoral roll, or even something as public as Facebook. Once they’ve pinned down your name, they’ve got all they need to start their con. It’s quite concerning how easily they can piece together this information!

they keep ringing me even after i've told them to stop a bunch of times. they always say they’re after a Mr Prouse. i've been quite polite but had to be more firm recently. they usually call between 4 and 5 in the afternoon and it’s getting really annoying.

I got a call saying I was owed money back for a credit card payment I'd supposedly made not long ago and they wanted my card info. Then they went on about some specific credit card I supposedly had, and when I questioned how they knew about it, they just ended the call. Seems like a total scam to me since I’ve never even had that bank’s card.
