8 yearsToday I got a ring from this number saying they were from 1st Plus Claims Ltd. They managed to mention quite a bit about a PPI claim I'd done some time ago, so it sounded pretty legit at first. But things got dodgy when they said I needed to pay a 20% fee upfront before they could sort out getting the money to me. I then phoned the firm they said they were dealing with, and they told me they had no record of any claim filed for me. Felt like a proper scam to me!1st Plus Claims ITD8 yearsGot a call from some dodgy lot claiming I was owed PPI on a loan I never even had. Then they started talking about solicitor fees I had to pay in advance for some claim they said I’d won. Total scam, watch out!8 yearsSo, I got a call saying I was due some money back from a Barclaycard PPI refund. They emailed me a document to sign and return, insisting it had already been dealt with by the county court and that I needed to cover solicitor fees before they’d release any cash. The whole thing seemed dodgy - like someone just slapped a company logo and letterhead together and messed about with the contact numbers. Definitely didn’t feel legit.Barclaycard8 yearsGot a phone call from this number earlier, they claimed to be from First Plus Claims Limited and said I was owed a PPI refund from a Barclays loan. Problem is, I can’t remember ever taking out a loan with Barclays. I checked their website but the VAT number they gave doesn’t look legit at all. Feels a bit sketchy to me!First Plus Claims LimitedBarclays8 yearsI just got a call from someone claiming they’d secured a PPI refund of £3700 for me, supposedly linked to a loan from 2007. They had my address spot on but mixed up the year, saying the loan was from 2006 instead. Also, they insisted I borrowed £5000 when it was actually only £2000. The whole thing felt off. I wouldn’t give them any personal info without checking this number properly first. I told the bloke to keep the £3700 and sarcastically suggested he should go buy something ridiculous to keep in his head. Seriously, watch out and protect your info!8 yearsthey rang me again but quickly ended the call, I reckon they're hoping you'll ring back and get charged loads for it. I blocked the number straight away, better to be safe than sorry everyone.8 yearsWas just about to hand in my paper when this unknown number kept ringing. Nearly threw me off big time during the exam!8 yearsthey called me three times within just a minute and I didn’t pick up once!9 yearsStay away from this one. It's all about the financial market, some binary options firm trying to scam people. Definitely don’t put your faith in himttt.Submit Your Own Report (020 3477 8019)
