Today, at about 2.08pm on 28/01/2016, I had a ring from this number but chose not to pick up. I checked the number by dialling 1471 afterwards. If this was one of those charity calls trying to get money, it's put me right off donating. These unwanted calls really are annoying, and I can't say I have much respect for the group behind them.

This number has rung us four times over the past few days. The initial call was silent, so I rang back and heard a recorded message claiming to be the Royal British Legion. Yesterday, when my husband picked up, the person on the line said they were from the RBL. Although we've supported them before, it’s been a couple of years since our last donation, aside from buying a poppy. The caller thanked us for previous contributions and asked if we wanted to continue, which my husband declined. We’ve just had another call, and I told the woman, who also claimed to be with the RBL, to stop contacting us. Both of us are retirees with health issues, and our number is on the do-not-call list.

This annoying number has been ringing me every day for the past three days.

I've had two calls already today (23/01/2016) from this number, but both times they didn't leave a voicemail. I’m quite happy I didn’t pick up. Used 1471 to see who it was and yeah, definitely looks like a scammer.

Got a call just after 8.45 pm, picked up but they ended the call straight away. If that was the British Red Cross, that’s really not on.

I got a call from this number and it turned out to be the British Red Cross checking up after I sent them a donation. Pretty nice of them to follow up like that.
