I’m not exactly certain which charity this is since I've sent text donations to a few different ones before Christmas - maybe Sense or the NSPCC? I’ve emailed some charities before about how text donations seem to get misused, though I do really value the work they do. After complaining, they took my number off their list.

Got a call that was really annoying. The phone buzzed three times and it woke me right up. I had just donated to the NSPCC through my phone not long ago. From now on, I’ll be giving my donations anonymously only.

Got a call from some number I don't recognise, and again no voicemail left. This has happened a few times now, really weird.

I've had calls on my mobile from this number a few times - specifically on the 23rd, 25th, 27th and 28th of October, always in the afternoon. They never leave a voicemail, which makes me think they're not legit. I haven’t picked up any of the calls yet, but it’s starting to get annoying and I want it to stop. Similar to what someone else mentioned, I did donate to Stand Up To Cancer but I’m not sure if it’s connected to these calls. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

You give money to Stand Up To Cancer and then boom, they keep ringing you non stop with those annoying autodialler calls that half the time just go straight to an empty line when you pick up! Honestly, it puts you right off giving to any charity again!!!
