Beware of these individuals who assert they’re operating on behalf of the charity Crisis. Do not be deceived! They’re one of those firms that rake in exorbitant fees from charities for making unsolicited calls to folks, luring them into contributing. The unfortunate truth is that the charity doesn’t see a penny until the first £150 is collected. So, if you decide to donate a tenner a month, it will take a staggering fifteen weeks for the charity to actually receive any of that cash.

I seem to be getting a ring from this number at least three or four times daily. Every time I pick up, it's just silence on the other end. If this turns out to be from Dogs Trust, I’ll be rather irked, as I'm already supporting three dogs through them. Should I uncover that this is indeed Dogs Trust, I might just reconsider my sponsorship and redirect my contributions to a different animal charity of my choosing.
