Got a phone call from someone pushing Aviva life insurance. I used to have life cover through my old job but left back in September. They rang up telling me I wasn’t covered anymore and I should switch my policy over to them, but at a higher cost. The caller was quite nice about it, I said no thanks, and they didn’t push or get nasty at all.

Somebody called saying they wanted to review my Aviva life insurance, but I don't even have one, just a pension and used to have health insurance with them before I retired. When I started asking lots of questions, they got really rude and just ended the call.

I got a call about going over my life insurance as well, they were firing off all these questions that seem like they already have the answers to. I told them I’m not comfortable sorting that kinda stuff out on the phone.
