Got exactly the same call, mate. Honestly, just block the number - it’s total rubbish. If HMRC was trying to reach you and you didn’t pick up, they’d send a proper letter through the post, no doubt about it.

Got two calls today, both times some automated voice with a very obvious American accent left me the same message. It said something about “your local country courthouse” and asked me to ring them back on 2034671244. Classic scam stuff, but they forgot to put the zero at the start of the number - no wonder they don’t catch many victims! Makes you wonder how they even think that’ll work. ;)

This number has rung me up a couple of times and left messages saying they'd take me to county court. I've decided to just block it now.

Got two calls from this number and on the voicemail, a guy with an American accent said they were going to sue me if I didn’t call back, or else they’d take it to the cops. Sounded like one of those automated calls, weird and pretty scary!

Beware, this number is definitely a con!! I phoned HMRC straight after picking up a call from this number, and they confirmed it's nothing to do with them. The callers push you to pay immediately, threatening court action if you don’t.

So, this American voice called me twice today and left a voicemail. They were threatening to take me to county court or something. Bit scary, honestly.
