Just got another one of those scam calls. Really wish the government would step in and sort this mess out soon.

Got a ring from this number around 1:09pm. The person on the line introduced himself as Kim from 'BT Broadband' and asked for me by name. He had quite a foreign accent. He told me that my broadband settings had switched from 'private' to 'public' and asked if I'd made the change. It seemed dodgy to me, so I told him I'd ring BT myself, and then he just cut the call. I then contacted BT directly, and they checked my account, confirming it was most likely a scam.
