got an email claiming a voicemail was waiting for me, with a link to click and hear it. bit weird since we dont even have a phone line anymore, so no way there should be any voicemail!

I received a call from this number, but they ended the line as soon as I picked up. Quite puzzling, really!

I got a call from some Indian ladies pretending to be from the Bank of England. When I asked where they got my info, they stupidly replied they couldn't say because of GDPR rules. I told them as a Compliance Officer, I know my rights under GDPR perfectly well and that they must delete my info immediately! Complete muppets. Don’t ever share your details with these scammers. Total scam alert.

Got a call from this number earlier. Didn’t pick up and looked it up here first. Definitely not going to answer if it rings again - blocked now.

Somebody must've cloned the Bank of England's phone number because I kept getting calls from it, but it wasn't the actual bank. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

I got two calls from this number and when I rang it back, the answer said it was from the Bank of England - didn’t really sound genuine to me at all.

I've discovered that this number is linked to the Bank of England. I reached out to them directly, and they've verified that it's a fraudulent attempt; it appears their main switchboard number has been duplicated. Best to steer clear and avoid engaging with it!

I got a call from this number and checked with the Bank of England, who told me it’s a scam. Apparently, someone has copied their official switchboard number. Be careful!

I received a rather suspicious phone call earlier, where the person on the other end was claiming I'd won a substantial amount due to PPI compensation. They suggested that if I took out a Life Insurance Policy with their company, I wouldn’t incur any fees from the PPI payout. However, I already have another firm working on my PPI claim linked to a reputable bank, so I pressed the caller for the name of the bank involved in this supposed compensation. To my surprise, they refused to share that information, claiming it was confidential. I couldn't shake the feeling that they were probably gearing up to ask for my bank details next. The minute I inquired about their company's name and contact number, the caller abruptly hung up. Could this have been a scam?

I've been receiving calls from this number four times a day, and whenever I answer, there’s nobody on the other end. It’s absolutely infuriating! 😡
