Got a call from this number today but they ended it as soon as I picked up. Over the past few months, I’ve been getting loads of marketing and scam calls from them. It’s obvious they’re not calling for any genuine reason, just trying to worm their way into our houses somehow. I really don’t get why the authorities don’t just cut off their network access altogether and keep doing so every time they pop up with a different number. Don’t want to hear any rubbish about "freedom of access" or "restrictions on trade" from those in charge of blocking because these scammers wouldn't dream of being held accountable.

This morning at around 8.30, I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying our home PC was under attack. When I asked him to prove it, he couldn’t give any evidence and got quite rude, so I ended the call. He rang back immediately, but this time the number showed as an international one, not the usual 0203. He asked why I hung up, I told him we weren’t interested in buying anything, and he started arguing, so I cut him off again. The third time he called, he was really aggressive. I passed him over to my husband, who asked for his name. Apparently, it was ‘Richard Taylor.’ My husband got annoyed, and the caller said Microsoft was blocking our account. My husband told him that was impossible and hung up for the third time. We’re pensioners living in Hertfordshire and honestly, this sort of persistent bothering is just not on - it seems like we get calls like this all the time from different people.

Got a call on my phone earlier today. At first, there was some sort of singing, then a guy started talking in a language I couldn’t figure out. I heard some noises in the back, maybe from an office or something. I didn't say anything at all and before I knew it, the caller hung up. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Picked up the phone but no operator came on the line. Rang back and got an automatic message saying it was Verso Group, so I just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now and found their site pretty easily by searching VersoGroup. Looks like they do lead generation, but makes me question if they’re actually playing by the rules?

This week I got 2 calls from what looks like the same number, but it's shown differently... once as +20 3 457 4172 and then as 020 3457 4172. The first time it said it was coming from Egypt, then the next it showed up as from London. I’ve blocked a couple of 020 numbers before but they just keep switching it up. So annoying! 😤😤
