Got a call from some scammers trying to blag my credit card details, claiming it was to 'renew insurance' on my home appliances. I managed to catch the whole thing on tape - I had them ring my Skype number and use an app that records all calls automatically. They spoke with what sounded like proper British accents, which was a bit unsettling. What really grinds my gears is how useless the police, banks, and government so-called 'Action Fraud' are about this kind of thing. They just don’t seem to give a toss. Probably too caught up chasing 'hate speech' on social media or something.
