Got a missed call from this number a bit ago, turns out it was really from TUI’s complaints team. I had filled out a survey after my holiday and there was an option to request a callback. If you’re not interested in chatting with their agents about your trip, best not to tick that box or fill in the survey at all. The people I spoke to were really polite and professional, so no complaints there.

Some bloke called saying my Microsoft account had been hacked. I told him I don't even own a PC. Then he said my phone counts as a computer. He started calling me daft. I called him out, said it sounded like a scam. He asked why I thought that and kept insulting me. Then another person came on, claimed they weren’t scammers but actual hackers, and suddenly a dodgy video popped up on my phone. I told them I’d happily ring the police and then I just ended the call.

Someone left me a voicemail that was really hard to make out. They kept ringing every hour. I was ignoring the calls thinking it was some sort of scam. After looking up the number here, it seemed like it could be Tui, so I picked up. The person on the other end was nearly impossible to understand, but mentioned something about a complaint. They asked me to confirm my DOB, which I said no to until they explained which complaint they meant. They said they couldn’t say anything unless I gave them my info. I just ended the call.

It’s TUI, I called to update the name on my booking. If you get someone with an Asian accent, just hang up cause it’s hard to understand each other. Keep calling until you get someone Egyptian, they’re much easier to trust and understand. Believe me, I’ve phoned loads of times over the past year. My calls are part of my plan too. Good luck!
