On Wed 13 Dec 2023, I got a call from RAC about sorting out the recovery of my car. I’d had two tyres blow after hitting a pothole in the dark, so this was a legit call from +44 20 3451 1480.

I managed to stop the Auto Renew on my RAC account and sent them a message telling them I wasn’t going to renew because of rubbish service (took them 11 hours to get a recovery in the South East). These guys keep ringing me every day, hassling me to renew. They were asking for £268 at first. I switched to Start Rescue - same sort of deal for £125 and it covers 4 cars, even 2 classics. No way am I going back to RAC. Done with them for good.
