I'm really tired of getting calls from this charity. I totally get what others have said about stopping these constant calls and actually using the money for the cause! I’m with you on this one! I donated once but I’m never doing it through texts again. The phone just rings at the worst possible moments and when I pick up, there’s never any actual chat. I’m all for street collections or those boxes you see in shops and banks, and maybe even online donations, but text messages? No thanks!

I'm dealing with the exact same issue as many others here. After donating to the appeal for Syrian kids, I've been getting loads of calls from them. I once picked up and explained I was at work, but the calls just won't stop. Does anyone know how to make them quit? I definitely won't be donating this way again. When I gave through the BBC fundraising, it was all fine and no hassle.

Totally with the other folks here. I also gave to the Syria relief fund but really don’t want any follow-up messages. I already catch the news and see how awful things are over there. This experience has put me off donating like that again, although I have no problem with BBC Children in Need - they never pester me with calls or emails.

It’s really frustrating, but we shouldn't let that stop us from helping the kids.
