The so-called "Housing disrepair team" called me, two different people, both sounded Indian but said their names were Jordan and Bianca. At first they said they were just following up on some council repairs that haven’t been sorted yet. I do have a mould issue but the council just keeps painting over it and never fixes it properly. Then when I spoke to the second woman, I found out it’s actually a claims company. Said something like "no win no fee." I’m curious to see how this pans out.

I found it odd since I don’t have any ongoing repair concerns like cracks in the ceiling or mould. He mentioned he’d just been in touch with the local constabulary and then abruptly ended the call. I've since blocked the number. Quite suspicious behaviour, if you ask me!
