I just got a call about my internet speed. The bloke knew my name and where I live, then started asking questions about my broadband. I didn’t really want to carry on, so I ended the call pretty quickly.

They kept calling me loads of times every evening. When I finally picked up, there was silence at first but then I caught some background noise. Someone was trying to get me to upgrade my EE broadband, but I don’t even have EE! Pretty obvious it was a scam.

They claimed to be from Sky Broadband, but my phone marked the call as suspicious. As soon as I caught the typical fake call centre sounds in the background, I cut them off and didn’t even give them a chance to speak.
