I attempted to retrieve my account information linked to an old address, but thankfully I've relocated. The caller presented themselves as being from Yorkshire Bank. When I rang back, the entire conversation revolved around PPI, despite having already made my claims. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

Received a call from someone purporting to be from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, saying they were reviewing my PPI claim. They insisted on confirming my date of birth and address to verify my identity. I felt uneasy and told them I preferred they provide some means of verifying their authenticity before I shared any personal information. They mentioned they’d ring me back later today with a phone number I could verify. To be honest, I was out for a walk at the time and let them know it wasn't a suitable moment for me to chat. I made it clear that I wouldn’t divulge any of my details without proper verification that they were indeed representing my bank.

Received a rather suspicious call today, the 17th of June, 2016. They claimed to be from Yorks bank, wanting to discuss some particulars regarding a PPI claim-things like my date of birth and address. I requested them to verify my account number first, but they insisted I had to confirm my info instead. Quite fishy, I reckon! In the end, I requested that they send me a letter instead. Just doesn’t sit right, does it?

I received a call purporting to be from Yorkshire Bank, regarding my PPI claim. When I mentioned that I had already been refunded, the young lady on the line seemed a bit taken aback and said she wasn’t quite certain about the details. She assured me she’d have a colleague get back to me, but, surprise, surprise - no one ever did! Quite the shambles, if you ask me.

A chap purporting to represent Yorkshire Bank reached out to me, providing the telephone number 08000153499 for verification purposes. However, I already had Yorkshire Bank's official number saved on my phone. I decided to give them a call, and they confirmed that it’s indeed a scam. Be cautious, everyone!

I've been receiving calls from that number for weeks now, both on my mobile and home phone. I've got absolutely no clue who they are!
