Got another call from someone claiming they had details about a car crash I was involved in. But when I asked, they wouldn’t actually share any info. Proper fed up with these irritating calls now.

Got a call and a voicemail from some guy with an Asian accent claiming hes from Wise Driving Insurance. He said i needed to put a black box in my car before the 27th. Bit puzzled coz i cancelled with them ages ago and got my refund back. They even took £110 off my refund, saying i’d still get charged cause of some small print i should've read. Gonna block this number and tell my bank too, just in case they try to sneak any more money out without asking me.

I got a call from these guys today, sounded a bit dodgy and as soon as I said we’d received the cheque and were excited to use it, they just hung up. Pretty sure they weren’t happy about that.

Got a call regarding an accident from the past 18 months. Everything was fine until I mentioned it might be a scam since I hadn’t been in any accident. Right after that, she just cut me off without a single word. Proper rude, haha!

Honestly, the easiest way to handle these calls is to ask if they’re recording the conversation. Most of the time they say yes, then you just tell them to piss off and the call ends right there. After that, just block the number and you’re done with it.

After a bit of digging, it seems like one of those “we’re calling about the car accident you had” scams. I honestly don’t understand how they make money from this. It’s obviously dodgy, just can’t figure out the angle.

I tried calling back from my home phone and it was busy. I’m gonna keep calling though so I can ask them to stop bothering me, it’s really getting on my nerves!

Got a call about that crash I was supposedly part of, so I asked if it was the BMW or the Audi, she sounded proper thrilled. Told her I needed to check with my driver, then hung up and left her waiting for about 20 mins. Came back and said I don’t even own a car. Bet she wasn’t happy wasting her time like that.
