We just received a call from these individuals.

When I inquired about my father, I was informed by the caller that he was not present. They abruptly ended the call without providing any identification or reason for contacting us. Their behaviour was incredibly bothersome and impolite!

I receive frequent calls from this particular number throughout the day, which can be quite irritating. Most of the time, if I answer the call, they simply hang up without saying anything-highly annoying, I must say! On a couple of occasions, they specifically asked for me using a foreign accent. However, my wife took it upon herself to give them a piece of her mind and firmly requested that they refrain from contacting us again. Surprisingly, they have not called back today, which gives us hope that our message might have gotten through to them!

They then proceeded to inquire about energy suppliers and the methods of payment. Next, they asked about my age, suggesting that I sound quite lively and possibly in my thirties, even though I am actually 68 years old. They went on to ask for my birth month to ensure they connect me correctly when someone calls back in the next day or two. This whole situation has left me feeling frustrated and concerned. As a registered member of TPS (Telephone Preference Service), I actively avoid receiving unsolicited calls. I can't help questioning how this company is allowed to engage in such practices. It seems like it ought to be against the law, doesn't it? I am considering taking legal action to address this matter.

When they inquired about mrs C, using my maiden name that my son still utilizes, I responded that they had the wrong number because their voice sounded odd. They then proceeded to ask whether my address was... without me confirming it. After that, they requested to speak to my son by name, to which I replied that he wasn't present. Consequently, they abruptly ended the call. I'm genuinely concerned about how they obtained both my son's name and address.

It made me wonder if she was specifically targeting older individuals. Then, she proceeded to ask me the day of the week I was born on. I hesitantly replied, "Thursday." Yet, I promptly added that I'm not comfortable sharing personal information over the phone. Consequently, she bid farewell and abruptly ended the call. I believe that this particular phone number is causing issues for my telephone because whenever they call, my phone frequently stops working and I encounter problems. BT claims that these numbers are originating from outside of the UK, which is why they are unable to take any action. However, I came across information stating that these calls are actually being made within the UK. I suspect that BT is not being entirely truthful and they use excuses like line faults to potentially charge me £120 if it turns out to be my own fault. Well, it has dawned on me that this is precisely what BT would do - blame me so that they can levy charges. Frankly, I am thoroughly fed up with the entire telephone service.

Someone called me recently claiming to be from "the energy board" conducting a survey on energy prices in the UK. Despite repeatedly asking what they would do with the information, they abruptly ended the call.

"What is HSB?" I asked. He responded, "Well, it stands for His Majesty's Service Branch. It is a military division that specialises in providing security for diplomatic missions around the world." Intrigued, I continued the conversation, discussing his experiences and responsibilities within HSB.

When asked about their location, they provided an amusing response: "2 Holford Road, Woldford, London." Quite humorous indeed! Unfortunately, we had difficulty obtaining their postal code as they claimed to have trouble hearing us. In our attempt to clarify, they abruptly ended the call. What a surprise!
