Just had the same dodgy experience with O2 like so many others! I’m not even a customer, and when I inquired about my name, they simply dropped the call. Quite shady, if you ask me!

I recently received a call from what they claimed was the O2 Upgrade Department, promising me a delightful 20% off my monthly bill as a token of appreciation for my loyalty. However, the background was utterly chaotic, filled with the din of a call centre, and the chap on the line had such a thick accent that it made comprehension quite a challenge. Honestly, I have my doubts about the legitimacy of the operation and can't shake the feeling that this might be some sort of scam.
