Received a phone call from someone purporting to represent O2, stating they could cut my bill by 20%. The only thing they needed was for me to verify a security code they had supposedly dispatched to me. When I pressed for alternative ways to ascertain their legitimacy, they could only rely on the fact that a message had just been sent my way. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
