Got a call from a number claiming to be 02, saying they'd give me a 40% discount. I found it quite funny and just ended the call. Later, the same number kept ringing me for a while. Pretty sure it's a scam, honestly.

Today I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with O2, saying they’re giving loyal customers like me a 40% discount because they’ve apparently lost a bunch of clients since Covid hit. It sounded a bit dodgy to me, especially when he asked for £30 upfront to start a new contract. He also tried to convince me that loads of scammers are about and that he was calling to keep my data safe. I wasn’t having any of it and told him to find a proper job instead!

some bloke called claiming he was from O2, saying he could give me a big discount on my O2 deal. bit odd tho cause i aint even got a contract with O2, so i reckon it was a scam.
