Got a dodgy call claiming to be O2, saying I could get 40% off. O2 themselves later told me it was definitely a scam. The caller somehow had my email, the price I pay monthly, and even knew what security question to ask. I just ended the call there. Afterwards, I got the typical O2-looking texts - one warning about fraud and another with some security code - which showed up on my phone as from O2 UK. I rang O2 customer support and they said loads of people have reported the same type of scam. They told me to change my password straight away if you get calls from this number and never share your info!

Got a call out of the blue from someone offering something that sounded dodgy. Their English was pretty bad, so I couldn’t really tell who they were or what the deal was. Feels like it was probably a scam.
