They had my email address, knew what I pay monthly, and even answered my security question, which led me to end the conversation right there.

I also received the typical fraud alerts and a security code text, both appearing to come from O2 UK on my phone.

I rang O2's customer service, and they confirmed they’ve been inundated with similar reports. Trust me, it’s absolutely a scam! If you receive calls from this number, change your password at once and refrain from divulging any personal information!

Received a rather dodgy call out of the blue with a questionable proposal. The caller's command of English left much to be desired, which made it tricky to ascertain their identity. I'm inclined to believe it was a scam attempt.
