Just got a call from 02034096779, a woman with a really bad attitude claiming to be from an electricity company. She asked for the owner of the business, but I run mine from home and had only just got it listed yesterday. When I told her it’s a home business, she got all short and hung up on me right away. Proper rude!

So rude when I told them I didn’t want to talk! If you’ve been called by these people, you should warn others. I’ll definitely be telling everyone I know about how unprofessional and rude they are. Seriously, who’d want to deal with a company that acts like this? With that sort of attitude, they won’t last long at all.

Complete muppets. I can't figure out how they believe anyone would want to join up with them with how badly they hassle people. They totally don't get how folks or companies actually behave. Such daftness!

This number keeps ringing me up, saying it’s from some utility firm and that there’s an issue with my tenancy contract. They’re always asking for the business owner, which is odd.

After getting loads of calls from them, I finally recorded one. They wanted the lady owner’s mobile number. The bloke even mentioned her birth date, which you can find just by searching the company name. He said there’s no way he’d ask for an elderly lady’s number without a proper reason. I hung up a few times, but then he rang back saying he was calling from my shop. Funny thing is, the caller ID on my shop phone showed our own number, so it’s clear he’s using some app online to fake the numbers.
