My elderly mum just got a call from someone asking for her bank info, turns out it was a total scammer.

They tried to sell me boiler cover for 15 months instead of the usual 12. When I asked to see the contract before paying, they said I had to handle the payment details first. Then they asked if I was retired and even wanted my bank sort code. Bit dodgy if you ask me!
