Got a call about chatting with a ‘Director’, supposedly to discuss some services. Turns out they’re just trying to get you into paying for stuff later on. Definitely feels like a setup to me.

I just got a call from Apollo Transitions, but the moment I picked up, they hung up straight away. I told them my number is listed with the Telephone Preference Service and asked them to take it off their calling list. If they ring back, I’ll be reporting them to TPS for sure!

They hit up folks who might be lookin for jobs, actin like they’re recruiters but really they just wanna push you to buy CV help. The messages are all vague and suspicious, definitely not what they seem.

I got an email from someone called Sam Wright, a business partner at Apollo, using the number 020 3409 1331. Apparently, his senior consultant thinks they might be able to help me find my next job and wants to chat about my current situation. Sam asked if I’d be free to pop into their London office sometime next week for a meeting. I wasn’t expecting it and had a quick look at reviews about Apollo; looks like others have been contacted from a similar number, 01132052855. Not sure what to think yet.

I had a bit of a puzzling voicemail from a chap named 'Peter'-didn’t catch a surname. He seemed keen to discuss something regarding my recruitment, but he left me in the dark about which recruitment agency he represents! Quite the mystery, really!
