I had a jolly good time toying with the bloke and making him burn his precious minutes. He was all too keen to get my phone number, email address, WhatsApp, and even my bank details in order to gift me a shiny new iPhone 12 as part of some daft contract I concocted on the fly - supposedly to replace my phoney iPhone 10 that I just pretended to acquire! When I told him I neither used WhatsApp nor had any email, he got rather shirty and couldn't quite fathom why a trip to Carphone Warehouse wouldn’t sort me out with the necessary info. And the cherry on top? I haven’t set foot in the UK or purchased a phone from Carphone Warehouse in a good 15 years! Ha! Enjoy your fun with these folks-waste their time to your heart's content, but do keep your personal details close to your chest!
