Got an email and a phone call about some bogus eBay purchase. If you see an email telling you to ring this number, or if they actually call you from it, just ignore it - it's a scam. I found the email telling me to call 020 3398 7741 for help, but instead of doing that, I logged straight into my eBay account to verify things. Turns out, no issues there. I then blocked the number and made a report here. Always better to check your official account yourself rather than trusting those messages.

I got a call claiming to be from Ebay fraud, asking me to type some letters into my browser. I said no and ended the call straight away. Watch out, they might try to hack into your computer.
