Seems like one of those eBay scams to me. When they pick up, they act all official like customer service, but it’s definitely just a trick. Watch out, it’s a scam.

Just like someone else mentioned earlier, I got an email claiming to be from eBay about a TV delivery worth £1000. But I found it fishy because

- I’ve never made an eBay account with that email address
- no cards are linked to it at all
- the sender’s email looks like it’s eBay but is actually [email protected]
- the seller info isn’t clickable and seems like a fake screenshot; plus, I couldn’t find this seller on eBay anywhere

I looked up the phone number and ended up here - turns out it’s a classic PHISHING ATTEMPT. --- Nearly got me too, I was about to ring the number.

Got a message that looked like it came from eBay, mentioning this number. The email claimed there was an order sent to Norwich, but I never bought anything nor do I reside there.

Just got an email claiming I’d bought an OLED TV from eBay for more than a grand. They told me to ring a certain number if I wanted to know more. Total scam, don’t fall for it! That email was completely fake!
