I've received the very same message as Smudge from that exact number, and our funds have vanished from our account. How on earth do we put a stop to this?

I experienced a similar situation myself. I reached out to T-mobile, and they informed me that a third-party fee was linked to Impulsepay.com (Tel: 0203 542 2815, Email: [email protected]). However, they denied any responsibility and redirected me to a company named Switchfire (Email: [email protected], Tel: 08455442623). In my opinion, the best course of action to resolve this issue is to file a complaint at this link: http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/For-the-Public/Make-a-complaint/Complaint-Form.aspx. On a positive note, T-mobile has now prohibited all third-party charges on my account, which is quite reassuring!

Just received a call around a quarter of an hour ago, but unfortunately, the language spoken sounded Indian, and I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. I ended the call, only to get two more attempts shortly after-both of which I decided to ignore.

I was billed £30.00 for something I neither requested nor had any knowledge of. When I approached Three regarding the matter, they seemed completely disinterested in my concerns.

I got a text the other day claiming I owed £30.00. Since I hadn’t made any such purchase, I swiftly deleted the message. However, my next phone bill shockingly showed that £30.00 charge. I reached out to my provider, Three, but they couldn't care less. It’s outrageous how they’ve taken this money without any prior consent or even a password verification!

I found myself redirected to another site while browsing, and shortly after, I received a message claiming I'd signed up for a quiz on there, resulting in a £30 fine! That's quite a hefty sum for me, especially since I never even took part in any quiz-if indeed, one even existed!

I received a message saying I've been charged £30 for 5 entries with CoMob, supposedly around 9:58 this morning. I don't remember signing up for this at all! The number attached is 02035405938 and there's an email, [email protected]. Could someone shed some light on this? I’d like to take another look at it as well-here’s the link they included: http://ip-7.com/bo6hp. Feeling quite perplexed by the whole thing!

I just got a message indicating a £5 charge for some mobile service I never requested. I had filled out a questionnaire online through Facebook, thinking it was complimentary. I strongly advise against making this payment or any similar charges in the future. Best, Linda Murphy

I’ve just been hit with a £30 fee for responding to a bunch of random questions on my phone. There was no indication that I’d be charged beforehand. This feels like outright theft to me! I’ll definitely be reaching out to consumer advice… I’m absolutely furious!!!

I was completely unaware that I was being billed! I was just scrolling through Facebook when I received a text notification for £20. I immediately tried to call them, but naturally, it went straight to voicemail. By the time I got a response, it was too late, and the charges had already been deducted. It feels like they're outright fleecing folks!

Payforit is operated by major mobile network providers in the United Kingdom, like EE, Vodafone, and Three. They facilitate these billing transactions through an agreement with Mobjizz, enabling charges to be added directly to your mobile account.

Blimey, how on earth did they come by my number? I’m really not interested in this nonsense on my phone. I didn’t consent to any of this and suddenly I’ve been hit with a £9 charge. It feels like a right stitch-up! I'm definitely going to have a word with my provider to get this straightened out. Their message didn’t mention a penny, what a con!

Mobijizz is nothing short of a total disgrace! It’s clear they have little regard for how they treat their customers. The so-called customer service team is absolutely dreadful - it's like they’re more interested in prying into your personal details than actually assisting you. They demand your home address, a copy of your telephone bill, social security number, and even your postcode! Truly alarming stuff! I implore you to steer clear of this outfit! They're nothing but a bunch of fraudsters looking to line their pockets. Please raise your voice and report them to the appropriate authorities; they need shutting down without delay!

Contacting mobjizz via email: Tina McGuinness (Head of Customer Service) I’m still in limbo with my case, hoping for some sort of response. It's baffling how they can siphon off money without a second thought yet insist on involving the bill payer for any refunds. What audacity! I’m absolutely fuming about this whole scam! By the way, don’t bother with their text service; it’s utterly pointless! Our mobile network is raking in commissions as well! 😡

Mobijizz are nothing but con artists; they bombard you with unsolicited adult content messages and then have the audacity to bill you for it! This so-called pornographic service ought to be eradicated from existence. They're quite possibly the most unscrupulous bunch I've ever encountered.

I inadvertently clicked on a link and ended up with a £5 charge on my bill-without having given any permission! Now, I’m bombarded with all sorts of offensive messages. It really baffles me how phone companies can allow these sorts of charges to go through. Why is this not deemed illegal? It honestly feels like outright theft! I’m seriously toying with the idea of taking this matter to the ombudsman; someone needs to take a stand on this! They can’t just be allowed to pilfer our money like this. I can’t help but wonder how many others are experiencing this but are too embarrassed to speak up. I reckon what I’ve encountered is just the surface of a much larger problem!

I received a message with a link to a video, so I clicked on it, only to find it was some explicit content. I quickly deleted it as soon as I realised. Shortly thereafter, I got a text saying my phone bill would be hit with a £5.00 charge. I haven't subscribed to anything of the sort! This feels like blatant theft through deceit.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share my experience. I received a text claiming I’d been billed £5, along with a dodgy link and a phone number. I didn’t touch the link or engage with the message, nor did I ring that number. It seems a bit silly to have to respond with 'stop' when I never signed up for anything in the first place! Anyway, I reached out to Vodafone to check things out, and they confirmed that there’s been no charge whatsoever. I’ve also blocked that number on my device. So, by simply ignoring the message and verifying with my provider, I’ve avoided any charges. Hoping this tips anyone else off!

I’ve had a couple of messages from this number claiming I’ll be charged £5.00 for each video. I never consented to anything like that! I’ve refrained from dialling the helpline they provided, as it seemed like a ploy to draw me into a premium rate trap. So, am I still potentially on the hook for charges from these dubious scammers? And if T-Mobile is aware of this con artist’s number, why on earth do they let these fraudulent transactions slip through their fingers as if they’re legitimate? It all seems rather dodgy to me!

I keep getting cheeky texts of a rather risqué nature and they’ve hit me for a fiver! What a right nuisance!

I’ve encountered something quite similar. They billed me for a video I didn’t even view. After reaching out to T-Mobile, they told me I must have inadvertently clicked on a link. Since when does clicking on a link equate to consenting to a charge? In any other business, that would be seen as nothing short of stealing or even fraud! How on earth can my network provider allow such practices? Unless, of course, they’re pocketing a cut of the profits.

Just got a rather dubious text from Payforit. It said I’ve forked out a fiver for a Vid from Mobjizz, accessed at 1:25pm. I’m wondering if anyone’s got a clue whether this is actually going to hit my wallet again? It screams spam to me! I’m contemplating doing a full restore of my phone just in case they’ve planted some nasty bits like viruses or dodgy cookies to sniff out my passwords or any sensitive info. What do you reckon?

I've encountered the same issue with this number, very much like what others have mentioned here. I received a message about a film I supposedly watched, followed by a text from someone named James, which included a link claiming to show a rather risqué film featuring a naked mother. This is nothing short of a scam, and I must say, Virgin Mobile have been utterly useless at putting a stop to these nuisance messages.

I’m in the same boat. Just received a message that reads: "You've been charged £5.00 for a single video from FunPass. For assistance, call 02033977637 or visit http://ip-7.com/281l0. Note that this isn’t a subscription and will show up as Payforit on your billing." Now I see that £5 is showing on my Virgin Mobile account, ready to be deducted, but Virgin isn’t able to help me at all. What a nuisance!

Has anyone had success in getting these nuisances blocked by their mobile provider? I’m rather troubled by the flood of unwanted messages, especially considering how vulnerable younger children with phones might be to this kind of bother. It’s utterly intolerable, if you ask me.

I've been inundated with these so-called 'complimentary' messages from this particular number. The thing is, I've not signed up for any service, so I'm baffled as to why I'm getting them. I've tried calling the number to put an end to it, but it's like shouting into the void-no one answers!
