Phone number ☎️ 02033977636 👆 is reported as a fraudulent operation linked to unsolicited adult video charges appearing unexpectedly on UK mobile phone bills. Victims frequently report being billed for videos they never requested or watched, often triggered by misleading pop-ups or accidental clicks. Attempts to stop the messages via standard methods like replying STOP typically fail, and customer service numbers often lead to automated or unresponsive lines. Many complain that their network providers offer limited assistance, though some have successfully applied third-party billing blocks or received refunds after persistence. The scam appears to exploit mobile payment systems, causing distress especially when minors are inadvertently targeted. Users are advised to register with official blocking services, report incidents to regulators, and consider changing providers if unresolved. Vigilance and prompt action are essential.

I've unfortunately lost £108 to a scam. According to Vodafone, this number is involved. I've never subscribed to anything or even clicked on a suspicious link. I'm completely at a loss as to what kind of service they're supposedly offering! Does anyone know how I can reclaim my money?

Blimey, what on earth just happened! My lad was having a go at that four pics game on my mobile, and out of nowhere, three boxes popped up. It prompted him to choose one, and after answering a few questions, a text came through charging me £30! I straightaway called the number on that message, but surprise surprise-it’s just a voicemail asking me to leave my details for a callback. I’ll be on to EE first thing in the morning, seeing as they’re shut now (brilliant timing, eh?). I'm not footing the bill for something so dodgy. If this gets resolved unfavourably, I might just start looking for a new provider before my invoice’s due date. This is absolutely scandalous!

Fraudsters, aren't they? It's baffling why telephone service providers don't take stronger measures to combat this. I was hit with a £5 charge for a video I didn't even view! I’d have thought that you'd need to give consent or at least sign up to something before they could start siphoning money from your bill. I'm inundated with messages from these blokes. Every time I attempt to send a 'stop' text, it gets rejected. They charged me £5 for a video that lasted a mere 20 seconds, and I found out about the cost only after it was too late. It feels completely dodgy, and I can’t see how it’s legal. T-Mobile isn't much help either; they just suggest I call the number, but when I do, there's no response. It's infuriating that T-Mobile can’t provide any assistance!

Just a fortnight ago, I was unfortunately caught up in this sort of scam. I received a message claiming I’d been billed £5 for some video I certainly hadn’t downloaded (of the adult variety). The message also proclaimed in bold letters, "This isn't a subscription, and it will show up on your bill"! After that, there was a two-week silence, but then, out of nowhere, I got bombarded with three messages over the span of a few days, each containing links to those sordid sites showcasing celebrities. I just got a rather surprising text today whilst browsing on my phone, informing me that I was about to be charged £5 for watching a video. What on earth? I couldn't believe it! So, I swiftly rang up Virgin, my telecom provider, and they promptly denied the charge without any fuss. Huge thanks to Virgin for their stellar support! They even took the initiative to call the number 08706093042 related to this so-called service, but there was no ringing tone. Instead, the text displayed 02033977636. Virgin gave that a ring, and an answering machine picked up; they left a message to cancel the charge. They clarified that the company behind this mess was called Switchfire and shared their email address, [email protected], suggesting I drop them a line to unsubscribe. I hope this information proves useful for anyone else dealing with these deceitful tricksters!

I received a rather peculiar message from this number, stating that I had been charged a fiver for viewing a video. Naturally, I dialled them up, only to be informed that I had supposedly engaged with an adult video titled “Glamour Models” (just for the record, I’m a 50-year-old gay chap - quite amusing, isn’t it?). When I inquired about a refund, they bluntly stated that they “cannot issue a refund at this time.” So, I pressed them on when they might actually be able to process refunds, and after a bit of back-and-forth, they capitulated and sent me my money back via a Post Office MCOM payment. If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to give them a ring and stand your ground - they seem a bit clueless. It might interest you to know that this company is associated with Safari Mobile (UK) Ltd (www.safarimobile.com), which is registered at 591 London Road, SM3 9AG, and one of the directors goes by the name of Mr Eric John Feltin.

Hello everyone! Just a heads-up, there are several firms out there engaging in dodgy practices like these. If you find yourself in this situation, the most sensible course of action is to report it to the relevant government authority at gov.uk. Alternatively, you might want to reach out to your mobile service provider and request that they impose a block on any third-party charges. I've unfortunately fallen prey to this scam myself, but after getting that third-party block in place, the problem ceased. Wishing you all the best!

During our recent trip to London, we suspect that my husband's mobile has been compromised. We've been receiving persistent messages claiming that we've paid for videos, but we’ve never subscribed to any such service. The texts just keep rolling in! We've reached out to our network provider, Vodafone, who are currently investigating the matter, especially as our bill has climbed to £35.00. I was browsing online earlier when an unexpected pop-up popped up, stating that I would be billed a fiver for watching a video. Initially, I brushed it off, but just five minutes later, I received a text from PayForIt, asserting that I'd viewed some video and that £5 was being taken by Mad4Mobile. Naturally, I called Three, my mobile provider, only to discover that my account had indeed been charged! I’m absolutely livid, especially since I was merely perusing a clothing site! I've recently come across one of these, but as of now, my provider, 3, hasn’t charged me a penny. To be frank, I’m a bit baffled about how it ended up on my phone. I've had a similar experience myself. While I was browsing for a TV service, a popup unexpectedly appeared. Without even realising it, I must have inadvertently tapped on the screen, and next thing I knew, a message flashed up indicating something was downloading. In a panic, I yanked the battery out of my phone. After a few tense minutes, I popped the battery back in and turned my phone on again, only to be greeted with a message stating that I'd somehow been charged £5 through payforit for a download I never consented to. My network provider is 3, by the way. I firmly believe all mobile networks should prohibit these kind of practices, and users like us shouldn't bear the brunt of such charges.

I've just had a poke around the internet regarding payfoit, and it appears that the network providers are well aware of its existence. I've been receiving some rather strange messages urging me to click on certain links. It's quite unsettling, to say the least!

Received a text from Lucy telling me to check something immediately. I clicked on the link, and lo and behold, I got a notification saying I’ve been billed £10 by Mad4Mobile Payforit. I made an attempt to ring the number provided, but all I got was a recorded message saying they’d get back to me in a day. I’m not holding my breath, though - it sounds like a right con!

I had a chat with my service provider, and they advised me to get in touch with them to request removal from their database. On a related note, I noticed a £4.00 charge from something named Switchfire, so just a heads-up for everyone to be cautious!

This number just popped up on my phone, and although I attempted to halt the download, I was unfortunately too late. I’ll be reaching out to my service provider to see if they can assist me with this issue, as the STOP text isn’t doing anything. It’s quite outrageous that such things are allowed to happen! Something definitely needs to be done to put an end to this nonsense.

Regrettably, I find myself in a similar predicament. While casually scrolling on my phone, an explicit website suddenly intruded upon my view. In my haste to close the tab, a notice popped up claiming I had a download ready. The truth is, I hadn’t requested anything, nor did I desire anything from that site. To my dismay, a message shortly followed, informing me that I had been billed £4.00 for a video download from FunPass, with the payment processed via Payforit. I reached out to FunPass via GameHouse support, only to be met with denial of any responsibility and instructed to get in touch with the provider directly. My attempts to contact Payforit were met with frustration as their website merely redirected me back to my mobile provider’s page. Has anyone else experienced such deceit? It certainly feels like I have. Consider this a warning to others!

It's rather deceptive how they send videos that you didn't even ask for, and the moment you click on it, you're hit with a message demanding £4 to pay. Quite the sneaky move, if you ask me!
